It's a fabulous base for rest. It has incredible, easy setting, adjacent to pubs, restaurants and other hotels, the river and town and the centre.

Nothing too much trouble, it was dope! Service was very good too. Plus their wifi was excellent. It was at a near distance from Efes Pizza, serving fast food.

My 3 nights in York were just perfect. Clean place, informative staff. Lots of food at breakfast like fresh fruit and fruit juice. The location was brilliant, convenient to go everywhere. The service at this great historic hotel was admirable.

Comfortable bed & HEARTY breakfast. I liked the shared bathroom. Near to the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. Also, I were 1 km from popular place such as fishergate postern tower. I really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely come back.

it truly was a lovely experience. for dinner we chose busk, that was 100 metres from the hotel. such city attractions as walmgate were close to this venue.

Tidy property. Lighthorseman, where you can eat, is walking distance to the hotel. We appreciated everything of our stay there. Holiday base for a city trip in York.
